My husband and I live on a farm in Northwest Ohio. We purchased our first goat (a red doe) in July 2006. We have percentage and fullblood does. We have 1 registered fullblood buck.We are just starting to raise Boer goats and learning alot along the way.
We isolate any new does before introducing them to the rest of the herd to watch for signs of illness. We have no known health problems, nevertheless, we do not guarantee our goats are free from any diseases or health problems. Our goats have tested negative for CAE and Johne's Disease.
We are trying to raise our goats naturally. Stress in goats can weaken the immune system as it does in people. We do not show our goats.
